Flower Garden

I am a gardener and love flowers in deep, rich colors rather than pastels. I wanted to make a quilt that reflected this love, searching out fabrics that portrayed lush, realistic flowers of all types. Tulips, daffodils, Lily of the Valley - I was very specific in what I wanted and spent months searching the internet for just the right fabrics. The back is a mirror image of the front, as much as possible and the smashing between blocks is a dark green vine pattern. The quilting is done in a curly wave motif using chalked on stencil.
