Disappearing 9 Patch

I had to take some guests out for shopping - where I saw these black and white fabrics sitting on the rack, then I thought if I added red to it will will look great - so without any design in mind bought 5 meters of different black and off white fabric and some solid red - came home feeling like a child who just got that chocolate :) Went through many designs online and then I watched - Jenny's disappearing 9 patch with the window panes - and I just loved the idea - Made a sample and quite loved it - so started cutting and sewing - made this King size quilt - a friend came over - and asked me how much would it cost if I made another one and when I gave her the costing she just picked up the quilt - put the cash on the table plus my labour charges and walked away with my quilt!
