Rag Quilt "Happy Birthday Sarah"

My first "Rag Quilt". Top layer is cotton, middle and bottom layers are flannel. I used a layer cake with 42 squares and added 7 squares from my stash for a total of 49 squares. The layout is 7x7, stitched with 1/2" seams for a finished size of 63" x 63". Using a layer cake took the stress out of coordinating fabrics.
