Earthy Spring & Summer Colors

I love half square triangles for their versatility. I saw a Jenny Doan tutorial and wanted to pair it with some new fabrics I'd gotten. I modified the pattern placement a little to create this design + I made it for a special person. There are Chinese characters on appliqued corner squares that I freehanded with a zig zag stitch on my sewing machine.
