Purple Drunken Braids

I good friend asked me to make a quilt for her. I agreed and asked what she had in mind her answer was I don't know something purple and queen sized. So I came up with this design it's a combination of the friendship braid and mini tumblers (that I call shot glasses) I chose to put in black strips to make the 2 elements pop.
