Wedding Gift

My nieces mother was quite the quilter. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's a few years ago which forced her to give up her quilting passion. About a year ago she decided it was time to disposed of her fabric collection and she gifted me with a pile of beautiful flannel fabric. Her grandson is now getting married in September so I decided to pull out those beautiful flannel fabrics and create a quilt for him. Something I'm sure he will treasure knowing where the fabric came from. This is the quilt before I added the final border. It is now at the quilters and I will upload the finished project when I get it back and add the binding.
