Krysten's Crazy 8

Just when I thought I was going to have a year with no weddings to attend, one creeps up on me for October. Bride's (DH's cousin) favourite decorating colours are burgundy, green, and blue. I pulled out one of my 'go to' patterns and used 12 FQ plus approx. 1/2 yd of yardage 'cause the 12 FQ's just weren't creating a long enough quilt. I machine embroidered the couple's names and wedding date in this extension piece. Used my fav quilting design, an uneven crosshatch with 5" and 2" spacing. Her brother is getting married in January - back to the cutting table for another wedding quilt.
