Quilt for Randy

My husband is working temporarily out of town. He needed a quilt and I have never made one for him. I got to looking around and I settled on a quilt kit from Missouri Star called Theory of Aviation Slice of Life Quilt. He was in the Air Force for 32 years and works on aircraft in his civilian job, so it seemed like a great match. The kit came quickly and I started work on it. It seemed a little small when I auditioned the blocks, so I added a few patriotic themed blocks I had left over from another quilt. After completing it, I sent it off to MSQC to be quilted. I received a phone call from them, telling me that my quilt back was too small. I found some left over fabric and I sent it to them for completion. After a couple of weeks, I received another call, that my fabric had never arrived. After discussion about my quilt and its' colors, as well as a staff member's perusal of the quilt pattern, we decided on a medium blue solid. The quilt was then quickly completed and sent out to me in Ohio. Thanks MSQC, for your wonderful work!
