Pineapple Jelly

This is one of the first quilts that I pieced, and I worked on this in December of 2012. At the time, I knew very little about color and value. The fabric came from a roll of 2 1/2" strips that I cut into 1 1/4" strips. I also had some 5" squares from the same fabric line that I cut into 2 1/2" squares. I used the fabrics as they came and did not add anything to it except the border and backing. It fits in with fall festivities very well. I sent it to a long arm quilter, and I have had it back for at least a year just waiting for the binding. I finally finished that today. Since it has been so long since I pieced this quilt, I would change quite a bit if I did it over again. That shows how much a person can learn in just a short history with quilting.
