One Fish Two Fish

I went to see my Aunt Martie after about 50 years. She is 92. I told her I would be making her a quilt. She likes a lot of color and she lives at Vero Beach, FL. I thought an ocean theme would be perfect. Her and Uncle Henry used to go to Bermuda so I added some Beach huts, ocean shells and creatures, a beach sign that says "Life's Better in Bermuda" and a sailboat. I used fabric margins in the sailboat mast about a Cookie Jar for fun! They absolutely loved the quilt. She also said "Make me 2 and I will pay you." I did not care about the money but she insisted! I have never had anyone with enough moxie to ask for 2 but I thought: "When you are 92, you can ask for WHATEVER you want!" I used ombre fabrics in rainbow colors and a strip race quilt was the other pattern.
