Patrick's Quilt
Several years ago I started quilting and fell in love. However, my love was limited to piecing tops so I ended up with a backlog of 27 unquilted tops. In 2016 I resolved to start sending the larger quilts to a long-arm quilter and attempting to quilt small quilts myself, thus cutting back on my UFOs. One of those quilt tops was one I had made for my youngest son. I sent it to Missouri Star to be quilted and they, as usual, did a beautiful job on the quilting. Because he is partial to St. Patrick's Day, I chose the shamrocks pattern and a green thread. That quilting really pops on the black and multi-colored blocks and especially on the solid black backing. I have totally fallen in love with this quilt and I am anxious to present him with it in October.
