Sarah's Quilt

Last year I counted all my UFOs and realized I had 27 finished quilt tops along with several unfinished quilt tops and orphan blocks. I'm a piecer and not great at the quilting part. I decided that I would set a goal to have more quilts quilted than I start so I could whittle down the number of UFOs. To that end I asked my two sons and my nieces to choose a quilt top and I would make an effort to complete them. That would take care of 9 of the UFOs. My youngest son became engaged and I made one of the tops into a welcome-to-the-family quilt for my new daughter-in-law. That would make a total of 10. Missouri Star did a fantastic job of quilting it for me. This quilt is the 8th quilt completed and it is niece Sarah who sent me a picture snuggling up in her new quilt.
