Vietnam service quilt

I made this quilt for my husband, he served with the 11th armored cavalry in Vietnam. I designed and enlarged the unit patch, Purple Heart,CIB, campaign ribbons ,unit pin and troop flag to scale. Hand embroidered Purple Heart, and unit pin and locations he was in. Appliquéd stallion , mane and tail are chenilled, hand quilted crossed sabers in unit patch, stallion in black sections , machine quilted others areas. Have hand embroidered his favorite quotes . Used poppy fabric for red , marbled black for stallion and outer border , white on white vine print, then different poppy fabric for very outside border. it is a queen size quilt.
