Finally Mine!! And Finally Pieced Together!!!

After making quilts for others for the last 3 years, I finally decided to make one for ME! I've had the fabric for at least 2 years and was Really excited to get to play with it. This quilt will be my bedspread and I knew I wanted a 'statement' type pattern...not just rows of blocks, if you get my meaning. While poring through all my BLOCK magazines, I found several possibilities and after looking at all of them over and over again, I ultimately chose SIMPLE JOYS log cabin pattern & got to work. It's still a work in progress but I was anxious to begin sharing it so....... I made 105 11" blocks. In the process of squaring/trimming now. Plan to make 10x10 quilt and use the other blocks for pillow shams. More to come!
