Grandmothers garden

I inherited the medallions (flowers) from my mother, she had never quilted and was trying to do one before she passed away....having bags of these flowers (275) and several years passed, I decided i needed to have a quilt made and found that one of my friends quilted... I ask her to make the quilt and she refused, but added, I'll show you how to make one..so my oddessy began.....now I'm hooked and wondered why, all these years I had never tried quilting....this quilt took me two months to complete ...I entered it in the county fair and won a blue ribbon....I know my mother is smiling down on me and Happy her quilt was finished.....
