Richards T-Shirts
Donna, It's not my favorite thing to do, but this one is special. Special, because these were found in a bottom drawer of a chest being sold at a tag sale of my sisters home. See, she is moving and we found these. My nephew Richard is not with us anymore, he died in 2013 of a heroine overdose. Just one of the many casualties in Mass. We never even knew he had a problem. A blindside to us all. He was a wonderful young man. This is a memory quilt for his brother he left behind. Two small boys adopted at the tender ages of 5 and 6 who had already witnessed things in life most of us never could even imagine. It's been an emotional journey to say the least. His birthday was the same as my Mothers August 17th, he never made it to 26, he passed on the 14th. They were both Reggae music fans of Bob Marley. The inspiration for the design of the front. The back is another shirt I just couldn't downsize for the front. So I made it it's own on the back. If you could center it, that would be great. I'll have my son drop it off in the evening after he works in Southwick. Sorry to be so sullen, I feel like our stories need to be told,. Thank you for all you do. Terry
