Broken Globes

I found the perfect Christmas fabric bundle from a small quilt shop in Virginia to make a quilt for my best friend. She loves snow globes and snowmen. I like the pattern but once I started cutting and sewing the blocks together I suddenly noticed that most of the snow globes were cut in half. I still like the color combination but wished I'd put it together differently. This was my first quilt using a pieced border and that was fun. The solid borders and backing are from my stash.
