My first quilt

I made this for my mother. I actually packed up my machine, drove 800 miles, sat with her and quilted it, while she was in hospice. She only got to have it for a few weeks before she passed away, but she loved it. I even made a tag for the back, with a line from a book she read to us as kids. In the book, the parent always told the child "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always", and she loved that so much, she told it to us all the time. She even signed her Christmas cards that way. This is her Quilt.
