Red and white pinwheel

This is a quilt for my sister in law who has just remarried. I wanted to make something that had lots of meanings beside being "handmade". My brother died of a very rare cancer. He lived for a year after the diagnosis and left behind a wife and 3 young children. She will always be part of our family.
