Skateboard Quilt

My husband still loves to skateboard (at 49!) and after I watched Jenny and Rob make a skateboard quilt I just had to try. Finding more "boyish" fabrics was not as easy I thought it would be. I happened upon the "summer of love" panel at the thrift store and bordered it with the old cars fabric because he is a hot wheels collector. Lots of errors in it (only my second quilt) but he loves it so that is what matters.
