black and gold Variable Star Quilt

I made this "Variable Star" quilt for my niece for Christmas. This quilt pattern was the first quilt made by Angela Walters on the Midnight Quilt Show. My niece lives in Western Pennsylvania. She wanted a black and gold quilt. I learned the value of a true 1/4 inch seam.
