Reflections Quilt

I made this quilt for my friend's son who became an Eagle Scout last year but had the awards ceremony today. He is graduating this year and going to Virginia Tech in the fall. I used solid colors for the strips (I picked out colors from the Eagle panel) and added an additional color of strips on the top and bottom of the panel. I added extra borders to make the quilt bigger since the Eagle Scout is 6'2". He plans to take the quilt to college. I quilted it with a swirl pattern from Wasatch Quilting. I used Hobbs 80/20 black batting and Omni light gray thread. I stayed up all night hand binding it for the event yesterday. 75" x 95"
