Scrappy nine patch and hourglass

Update: I just finished hand binding after I FMQ swirls (first time on a longarm) on my friend's longarm. I just finished this quilt top for my friend/neighbor's daughter for high school graduation. I used blue, purple, and green fabric (her favorite colors). I used fabric scraps to make a string border. 80 x 96" I'm going to quilt it with my friend's help on her longarm tomorrow.
