My Fern Gully Quilt

Have you ever gotten a layer cake with such gorgeous fabrics you just couldn't bear to cut them up? Here is my solution! The first time ever, I sewed the entire thing in one day! Still need to add borders and backing and quilt it, of course. I know it's dragonflies, but it reminds me of when my children were little and loved the movie and the music of Fern Gully.
