I Spy Quilt

I made this quilt for our neighbor's little girl. It will be her big girl bed quilt. She will be 2 very soon. I made her a matching pillow case , toss pillow with zipper so it can be washed and a reversible valance. Her room color is grey with shades of yellow, pink, blue and purple accents. It is a I Spy layer cake using Jenny Dolan's pattern of Double Slice Layer Cake tutorial . I used one layer cake of the I Spy and framed it in yellow 2/1/2 strip from Stonehenge. The back is a light flannel from Corner of 5th & Fun pattern by Sandy Gervais. the Piano key border was from the Corner of 5th & Fun also but was 5 inch which I cut in half. The grey also from Missouri Star but had it so long I forgotten the maker. I used my embroidery machine to add her Name and I Spy on the bottom and her birthday on the Yellow frame of the I Spy pattern . The longarm stipple was also done by Missouri Star and they did a beautiful job for me.
