This was quilted by Missouri Star Quilting Company. I thank them for finishing off my quilt perfectly and hiding my errors. This was a challenge to me in perfecting my cutting skills. As this was a King duvet cover I began by taking that apart. The material is sort of a silky rayon and loosely woven which made cutting more difficult I found. I prevailed though. It began as a large 29 inch square which you cut diagonally on the bias. You then sew on at least 4 2 1/2 strips of variest lengths after cutting after each added . Once you complete the first item ( which is not square, you cut again on the diagonal and add more 2 1/2 strips cut after each additional piece sewn on. I have errors but happy with end product as MSCQ did a great job of helping to hide those. It was also the printed material pattern that had to be matched that added to my issues. This will be our guest room bed quilt. I made matching pillows in the 29 inch square which MSQC also finished the longarm quilting for me. I found the pattern in a magazine which was not mine so made a copy of this pattern. I have had the duvet cover and pattern copy for 9 years so sadly do not remember the name of designer but know you can find this pattern and different variation's of the pattern on-line. The one photo is the back side of a lovely print so quilt can be reversed. The duvet cover was given to me by my daughter-in-law and was $300 but her husband (our son) didn't like the pattern. The back print was a bolt of material find at a estate sale that cost me $4.00
