Scrapy squares

Our quilting group that has been sewing quilts and craft items now for 10 years have so much scape material. Our group has donated over $15,000 in those years to the local homeless shelter and many donation quilts to a pregnancy shelter and a Veteran Rehab center. Our facilitator as she calls herself decided we need to rid ourselves of some of these scrapes , so she has asked each of us to make 15 1/2 size squares of 2 1/2 stripes and 2 1/2 squares in rows. She will then sew them into quilts she said. She asked each of us it would be helpful to make her even just one. So I though OK I can help with this even though I am heavy into other projects. Once I started though it was so fun so made her six squares.
