The politics of pondlife

This is another hexie quilt that started with the multiprint background. I saw that fabric and was sure it would make some interesting hexagons. After I cut and placed the hexies, my first thought was that they looked like algae. So I found some nice matching fabric in my stash, and built some blocks to sit in the algae/pond. Then all I needed was some froggies to finish it out. My very kind and giving brother in law saw the photo of the finished project and proclaimed himself in love. He is now a proud owner of 'the politics of pondlife'.
