Quilt from a kit

This was my first time using a kit. I can see all my mistakes, but I still think it's beautiful, and I love the book that goes with it. Many thanks to the author of "The Quiltmaker's Gift" Jeff Brumbeau and illustrator Gail de Marcken. Anyway, my Aunt Joyce bought this Benartex kit back in 2000 or 2002. She took it out of her closet, still untouched, for me to tackle in 2020! I learned a lot about quiltmaking by following directions (still no real planning involved--yay!) and am happy with the result.
