Daddy Mike in Heaven Quilt

My son-in-law passed away suddenly and on the same day my daughter discovered she was pregnant. After my granddaughter was born, my daughter gave me his jeans for safe keeping. We discussed making a quilt with them for my granddaughter someday. This year it has been 10 years since her daddy (Daddy Mike) passed away and my granddaughter turns 10 this year; seemed like a good time to make that quilt. Although my granddaughter has another daddy now, she refers to him as "Daddy Mike in Heaven." The hearts in the quilt represent how much Daddy Mike loves her and the stars represent him watching over her from Heaven.
