Patriotic Rag Quilt

This quilt is made from homespun fabrics (in red, ivory and navy) that I purchased a LONG time ago with the intention of "someday" making a rag quilt. I made a rag quilt for my granddaughter for Christmas this year (2015; see my other posted projects) and decided my grandson also needed a rag quilt. So glad I had these fabrics "waiting in the wing" to be turned into something special; hence, this rag quilt for my grandson for Christmas this year.
