DAD'S OLD SHIRTS

My sweet Dad turns 80 in October. I asked my Mom for some of Dad's old flannel shirts. Some were so worn there was no "fuzz" left of the flannel. I had to interface several because the fabric was so thin and kind of difficult to work with. I borrowed this pattern idea from a FB quilting site. I am so pleased with how it turned out and can see him wearing these shirts back in the day when I look at it. I was quite surprised how much fabric one can get from a man's medium and large shirt!
