Heirloom

The very first quilt I've made. This quilt holds all the love, hope I had in my heart and my mind as I was sewing while my daughter was expecting. One side, the back is a fleece fabric with a Christmas spirit. The front is made of symbols. The flags and guards for my husbands country. The center panel, the road connecting family members (and it could be used as a playmat). The 4 pictures are photos printed on fleece fabric. Photos of our family members. The persons who love the little boy to be born; his mum, his grandparents (my husband and I), his great grandparents (my parents) and his great great grandmother (my grandmother, with my daughter when she was 10 years-old). A way for me to give him a reminder of the fact he is loved and always will be.
