My Grandmother's Quilt

My grandmother has made quilts for all of her children and grandchildren through out the years. She's extremely talented and passed on the sewing gene to my mother. April 2n, 2015 I started quilting. My birthday gift to myself this year was to create a quilt for my grandmother (April 23rd). After a lot of thought, sewing and tons of love I finished her quilt at midnight on the 23rd. I gave her the quilt that evening. She was beyond ecstatic with her gift. One of her comments was: "I'm really happy that quality quilting will continue in our family. I love it. " Best birthday ever and feeling proud.
