Easy Street Mystery

Start: Dec. 1, 2012 End: Mar. 23, 2013 Went to Holly's Quilt Shop and bought 1.25 yard of gray, since most of my grays were silver/xmas or other exotic. Started making 4-patches. Never did the un-sewing the top of the seem for a 4-patch before, only for pinwheels. I'am about half way through both the purple flying geese and the turquoise patches. Whew! that's a lot of patches. OMG ! I think I made too many. Current photo is my current guess. It fits the numbers given, and has two different pseudo-blocks. (earlier photo: Saw this layout on one of the linked blogs, but it does not fit the parameters.) Have all the setting triangles pieced. Now I'm working on the A patches, have 12 complete. Mar. 17, 2013 - only two seams left. Mar. 23, 2013 - top completed (no borders) There is one yellow-green fabric that is really too yellow in natural light. In artificial light, I think it is okay though. If I made it again, I would not use so many kelly green fabrics, I would stick with the limes. Aug.1, 2014 - Rocky Mountain Shop Hop. B-Right-On, Brighton, Colo. Bought 1/2 yard of purple for inner border. Would have bought 1.5 yard turquoise tone-on-tone floral but there was only 1.25 left. Aug. 2, 2014 - Rocky Mountain Shop Hop. High Plains Quilter, Colorado Springs. Bought 3 yards turquoise. May make a pillow or two for the living room. Spoke with some other hoppers who were buying some nice tan/red fabric for pillows and a cabin quilt. * Idea: Maybe we should hang this over the white/green sofa in the family room!
