Giant Bear Paw

Made with Harvest Melody, a Benartex quilt collection from Nancy Halverson ca. 2002. Complete set of fat quarters plus several yards of background. Pattern is basic Bear Paw, with an interesting triple sashing and 9-patch posts. Saw the pattern in the background of a "10 Top Quilt Shops" magazine. Turned out to be 120 x 100, kinda big. Quilted by Top Quilters, in a leaves design. But I did the binding, with some brown. Ran out of brown, found some more, then couldn't find where I put it and thought I was going to have to piece the binding from some scraps. Luckily I found the lost fabric.
