Mother's Handkerchief Quilt

Found the pattern online. I needed handkerchiefs so I shopped antique stores to find them. That in itself was fun to do. I got fabric for the sashing and squares that had the colors used in the 30's. The hankies when folded look like butterflies. In searching for the hankies I found at least one for each of the 3 Handkerchief quilts I made that had butterflies on them. That seemed to be so approiate for these quilts.
