Retro Quatrefoil

My first real quilt--the jelly roll race doesn't count. It started with a beautiful pattern and became a lesson that taught me much more than I could ever have imagined. I forgot to change seam allowance at one point in piecing the 4 patch, ran out of material, discovered I could have bought a jelly roll instead of yardage, and discovered that colors that are dark can be light. This will be a gift for a dear friend who has a condo decorated in mid century modern style. She even has an old TV.
