Cutting Corners with leftovers

I had some strip sets leftover from a project & they had sat in my stash for some time. I had no ideas what to use them for & had resigned my self to picking the strips apart! Then there's Jenny's Cutting Corners tutorial! I measured the depth of my strip set & cut background squares (again, leftovers from a different project). Voila, a nice sized lap quilt top. Of course, I'll just Have to go shopping for the backing!
