Nautical quilt 1

I received samples of the nautical fabric (which is the 'By the Sea' line from Riley Blake) from Project Linus meeting. I added some white, and used the pattern 'Color Wave' from the Quilts and More Summer 2017 magazine. But, I used a slightly different sized block. The sample fabric was about 9 inches wide by varying lengths, so I CAREFULLY cut 4 1/2 inch squares from it, and corresponding white squares from yardage I bought. Quilt is 12 blocks by 18 blocks with a border. I thought it was slightly too small without adding a border. Since the fabric was given to me from Project Linus, that's where the quilt went back to. I wish I had taken a picture of the final quilt instead of just the top, but I always take a picture of the top at some point. Sometimes it comes in handy!
