Seamus' dragon

I decided to make a quilt for my son (and a crocheted blanket for my daughter)..l hardly ever make them anything. When travelling around the Valley (Phoenix area) this summer to find the fabric license plates for the Row x Row thing going on, my daughter and I (who went with me to most of the quilting stores, with my son going with me to a few others) found the dragon panel, which we though my son would really like. I already had a bundle I had bought of red, white, and black fabric FQ's, since he really likes that color combination. He wanted the orange on the quilt, so I put it as a border. The back is a dragon print fabric that I have had for years, but never used. I had just enough to make the back. There is some hand sewing done in the panel, around the flames, the white moon and circles the dragon is holding, and some of the gold birds. He really likes this quilt, and knows I made it just for him!
