Angie's Quatrefoil

Angie's Quatrefoil

I was commissioned to make a quilt for one of my vendor's employees. She had told me that she had a quilt that was stolen from her many years ago that her grandmother had made for her and she was still heartbroken about it. I spoke with the owner of the company and he wanted to pay me to make one for her as her Christmas gift. I knew what colors she wanted, but I chose the Quatrefoil pattern. I used batiks to give the quilt "movement" I think the dark green sashing looks like flower stems :) I also enlarged the flower for the backing so that the quilt is reversible. I hope she LOVES it!!
