Sunbonnet Sue

I made this quilt for a dear friend. She is 84 years old. She once told me a story about a Sunbonnet Sue quilt that she owned as a little girl. Unfortunately, the quilt was lost in a house fire when she was still very young. she went on to say that she, for whatever reason, still remembered that quilt so fondly and wished that she still had it. So I got busy and made her a new one to snuggle under. She absolutely loved it and uses it everyday. It was a pleasure to give it to her.
