Winter Forest Flannel Quilt

This is the quilt I made for my daddy for Christmas this year. I used the double slice method from Jenny at MSQC. Its one of my favorite patterns. I like to do my own thing on the backs, so i do a scrappy backing and use some of the fabric from the matching charm pack.This was also my first quilt using Flannel and it turned out very nice. The weight of it was perfect for cold winter nights on the couch!
