Robin’s Quilt

Robin’s Quilt

I saw the Easy Clamshell pattern online at MSQC and it was just what I had been searching for. I watched Jenny’s tutorial and she made it look so easy! I was sure that I could do this and I began searching for the right fabric. I found Tula Pink Zuma and knew that it was the perfect choice for this pattern. I finished cutting and laid out all the pieces and was excited to get started. I began sewing the blocks...I must admit it took me a while to get the hang of it, but it finally came together. I love the colors and fabric designs; Tula Pink is just amazing! MSQC finished the quilt and as always they make my amateur efforts look so much better. This quilt was a gift for my daughter Robin. She loves the beach, the ocean, the sand and sun, everything depicted in this fabric. Like many others this year, her dream vacation had to be postponed. So instead of a seaside slice of heaven, she said she will wrap herself in this quilt, sip a cold drink, close her eyes, and almost feel the sea breeze!
