Tribute to Momma

After my mom passed away in 2009 I cut up all of her favorite wearing around the house clothes and made quilts for my dad, my son's and then with the leftovers I made one for me. These were the very first quilts I ever made. Boy have I learned a lot since then. I made 9 patch quilts to start out with becauseI read it in a Little House book when I was a little kid and always wanted to make one too. I've had to make lots of repairs on these quilts because I had no idea what I was doing, but they are loved and used every day, so that's okay.
