Batik Color Wash Quilt

I made this quilt for our son's girlfriend. The inspiration came from the quilts on this blog. http://exuberantcolor.blogspot.com/p...sh-quilts.html Most of the batik rectangles were cut from scrap pieces plus a few FQ's. The quilt has 476 4"x2" (finished size) rectangles for a completed size of 56" x 68". All the fabrics are batiks & most I have been hoarding for a few years. I used the walking foot to sew simple wavy lines across the quilt. Her favorite colors are blue, green & purple.
