pink sorbet

Our small quilting group undertook a scrap busting project. We were all responsible for bringing in scraps already cut into 2 1/2" strips and 4" squares from our stash. We then selected a page from a magazine that appealed to us in some way. Using our picture and from the newly combined stash, we each picked the fabric needed to make our project. The process was such a great exercise in color theory and it was a huge confidence booster for me. We collected a total of 10 finished quilts and are donating them to a local abuse prevention charity.
