Ohio Star and Courthouse Steps

This quilt is a very special one.I made this Quilt for my Sister Vickie,who was going through a great deal of hard times and I wanted this to cheer her up. She had a blood clot in her leg, they could not do anything but cut her leg off from just below the knee then a few weeks after they had to cut off above her knee, I would go to see her when I could in rehab, we were starting to know each other again. Towards the end of that summer 2014 I lost my dog Jake, we had to put him down do to his heart condition. Just before that, we went camping in New Hampshire that is where I finished my sisters quilt. I have not been quilting long only a few months even I was surprised how it came out.
