Blackbeard Pirates Sail Away Quilt

I've been "hoarding" a layer cake for about three years that has lots of pirates and ships and jolly rogers and sharks--lots of stuff a little guy would find interesting. The ideal opportunity came up a few months ago to put this fabric to good use. I made this quilt using a pattern from Missouri Star Quilt Company (Thank you, Jenny!) for my good friend Marsha's first great grandchild, Sullivan. I got to meet Sully and his mom in Rogers AR while there for a needlework seminar. The video from 2013 is called Sail Boat Quilt, and it's also in a BLOCK magazine.
